Jacob is clearly excited for spring, as he’s jumped the gun this first week of March, with his Album of the Week: April, by April Varner. We are definitely feeling like spring is arriving here in Waxing Lyrical HQ though, and have picked a good selection of jazz, soul, afrobeat and more, to see in the new season.
Last week saw the release of a handful of excellent albums, from Everything is Recorded, NIJI, and The Lathums, so we’ve picked a couple of highlights from each. Other new releases come from Oscar Jerome, Little Simz and Chaos In The CBD. Save, share and listen on Spotify.
