We begin with rock, and Waterfall by James, from our Album of the Week, Hey Ma. After a first section of mostly more rock, but with some folk also mixed in, we bridge into a middle section inspired by this weekend’s Glastonbury festival, with music from some of the acts we are most looking forward to. This includes electronica from the likes Floating Points, hip-hop from Loyle Carner, R’n’B from Greentea Peng and nu-disco from Parcels. Following that, a jazzier and mellowish rock final few tracks sees us out. New music this week comes from Loyle Carner, Red Rum Club, corto.alto, KOKOROKO and GoGo Penguin.
